About Us

Founded in 2025, Skill Fan was created as a platform to provide opportunities to jump-start careers in creative fields. 

Competitions have historically been the way that creators and designers make a name for themselves and earn recognition within their fields and become known to the public. Due to the largely private hosting of competitions, frequency of competitions, transparency of judging, inconsistent formats, and inconsistent advertising create barriers to entry, especially for young talent.

Some creative fields have had successful competition and young talent opportunities for some time, while others have no such community. By providing a cross-discipline platform, Skill Fan can share successful strategies for a wide range of creators.
